Joanna Jia

Hi! My name is Joanna. As CITA's Art Director, I focus on leading CITA's art sector. To me, CITA is more than just a combination of words; it represents the fundamental idea that art is a tool for social impact. 

Outside of school, art, music, and cross country are just a few of the interests that have had a big impact on my life. Art, in particular, occupies a unique place in my heart since it has always sparked a genuine enthusiasm in me. I generally sketch and paint, but I'm currently experimenting with digital art!

As a Junior in high school, I'm interested in business as well as computer science. I pursue these fields through events such as DECA and BPA as well as coding competitions in UIL. Furthermore, I am currently a co-founder of a global business organization that focuses on spreading business resources + education to students in underserved communities. I found that CITA was a great way to merge both my passion for service to the community with art! I'm so grateful for the support from my family and look forward to working with this amazing officer team!
