Hello! My name is Naboni Asad, an IB junior at FHS. Art has always been a hobby of mine, as frustrating as it gets. I stopped taking the class after 7th grade as I wanted to focus more on what I wanted to draw in my spare time (to post on my DeviantArt) and study harder so that I can become a pediatric cardiologist one day- though unfortunately that does come with a lack of free time! I love joining clubs because it allows me to interact with others, volunteer, and experience new things; and I found that CITA allowed me to combine all of that with my love for art. I really hope this club can grow by including not only art lovers, but those who happen to discover a newfound interest for it whilst helping others at the same time. As the FHS chapter’s secretary, I hope my artistic insight will be helpful in organizing events that will benefit our community and spread the joy of creativity.
