Texas Forever Fest

Organization: Official City of Plano - Plano Art Fest

On March 25th, 2023, CITA was invited to host a booth at the annual Texas Forever Fest in collaboration with the city of Plano and Plano Art Fest at Haggard Park! Prior to the event, our volunteers helped us create handmade beaded jewelry, themed cards, etc. which they made at a few of our in-person volunteer events. The CITA Executive Leadership Team worked incredibly hard preparing face paint designs, ceramics, canvas & marble art, tattoos, henna, and even live animated portraits for the community!

In total, we raised over $1,100 which will go towards upcoming CITA projects and creating more and more opportunities for our volunteers to serve in our community and make a greater impact!!

A BIG thank you to all our amazing CITA members and volunteers for making such beautiful creations and putting in SO much effort into this event! And HUGE thank you to Plano Art Fest and Texas Forever Fest for collaborating with us and providing an avenue to spread the word! Our fundraiser was a huge success and we are looking forward to hosting more of them soon!
