On April 2nd, 2022, a group of our members and CITA officers put on its first volunteer event at Solstice Senior Living in Plano, TX. Members worked individually and in groups to assist our seniors in creating their own watercolor stars. Our seniors enjoyed experimenting with watercolor, different shapes, and of course engaging with our members which they don’t have an opportunity to do often. We truly appreciate all our member’s taking time out of their Saturday’s to volunteer and brighten a few seniors’ days!
A BIG thank you to Solstice for hosting us and we can’t wait to meet more seniors and make more amazing memories!!
