Sumyuktha Konakanchi

Sumyu has been a creative person all her life. From dancing to singing, she loves to express herself through her artistic abilities. Art, especially drawing, is a solace for Sumyu for when she is dealing with a hectic schedule or stress. This has allowed her to build her artistic abilities through time and grow as an artist. Right now, Sumyu is working to establish her own art style and draw realistic original characters without a reference.

Because of her experiences with art and learning more about the benefits, Sumyu jumped at the opportunity to take part in CITA and help others within her community. As a student pursuing a medical career, Sumyu knows the benefits of art (social skill enhancement, reducing distress, improving self esteem, and more) anf hopes to use it as a way to help uplift the community and use her talents to promote positivity through CITA at Plano West.
