Yasmine Aguilar

I am a senior at Mission. I joined CITA to help make a difference in our community and help connect people through art. I am excited to plan events within our community. Outside of school, I like going to get coffee and riding bikes through my neighborhood. Another hobby of mine is in my free time; I also like to build Legos. The career that I would like to pursue is Agronomy. Agronomy is the study of plants and the production of crops for food. I have always found an interest in the study of plants on how they can be grown, modified, and used to benefit society. Agronomy is also the study of how humans interact with the environment. On the weekends, I volunteer at our local hospital, which has taught me to get involved with my community. Giving back to the community has allowed me to meet the wonderful people in my community. CITA can help us connect with others within our community. Giving back to the community that has helped me; now it is time to give back.
