Kristina Pan

President

The main reason I joined CITA was for the creative cause that it stands for. Not many organizations think of art as a way of making an impact, but I want to help change that by emphasizing the role art has in the expression of anything that could range from culture, life background, and of course, emotions. Through CITA, I would like to encourage students that I know have a talent in art to bring that same enjoyment they gain from their beloved hobby to the lives of others who may not be in as fortunate of a position as we are in to have accessibility to different forms of art. I also want to help those that may be “afraid” or timid to show their art, to be proud and use it for good.

I’ve always had art as a hobby; however, art became a very rare hobby of mine when I started focusing on other organizations. I also play the piano and enjoy reading. I began to have an interest in a business major when I joined an organization called Business Professionals of America, but after I get the chance to pursue my interest in marketing and management, I want to be able to pursue my long wish of becoming a fashion designer. And hopefully, all this can be pursued in New York.
